We are seeking a skilled Traffic Controller to join our team at East To West Traffic Control Ltd. as a Construction Traffic Management Specialist. This role involves directing traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient flow of traffic.
Key Responsibilities- Direct traffic at or near construction sites, adhering to traffic control plans and regulations.
- Monitor and control traffic flow to prevent congestion and ensure public safety.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate traffic management plans and ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide excellent customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with physical demands including standing for long periods and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to work in various locations and adapt to changing traffic conditions. The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
