Position Overview

A.C. Fire Alarm Safety Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fire Safety Technician to join our team. This role involves working in various settings to ensure the safety and functionality of fire alarm systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment

The position requires travel to different locations, often working on the road.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections to assess repair needs for fire alarm systems.
  • Perform repairs on electronic safety equipment.
  • Test and evaluate electronic devices and assemblies.
  • Identify and rectify faults in circuits, components, and equipment.
  • Adjust and fine-tune repaired systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Complete maintenance reports and work orders accurately.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process.

Safety and Security Requirements
  • Must be bondable.
  • Criminal record and driving record checks are mandatory.
Transportation Requirements
  • Must have personal transportation and a valid driver's license.
Physical Demands

The position is physically demanding and requires:

  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Capability to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Workplace Information
