About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Bridgewater. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with diverse needs, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support to residents with cognitive deficits, physical health conditions, mental illness, and developmental delays.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a positive and supportive environment for all residents.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with diverse needs in a residential setting.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors and provide compassionate support.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search completed.

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Rotating schedule including day and night shifts, every second weekend.
