Position Summary: This role functions as an integral part of the Commercial Credit Department, operating as a self-sufficient credit unit. The associate will be responsible for conducting thorough credit, collateral, and economic assessments of financing proposals, exercising decision-making authority to ensure proper documentation of transactions. Daily attendance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct periodic reviews in the designated formats, including CCAP, Risk Based Review, or Automated Review.
  2. Perform assigned Dealer Monthly Reviews, providing recommendations to reduce the number of dealers on the Watch List.
  3. Complete relevant tasks on the liquidation checklist following floorplan payoffs.
  4. Analyze overline/aging issues and collaborate with Sales to identify causes and develop reduction strategies.
  5. Examine floorplan insurance policies for adequate coverage and compliance.
  6. Manage collections on excessive audit exceptions, principal and interest payments, and curtailments, ensuring timely follow-up on reported duplicate financed vehicles.
  7. Engage in additional assigned duties as required, including processing new requests.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Development of credit and financial acumen in a challenging analytical environment.
  • Strong time management, prioritization abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possession of substantial subject matter expertise in all relevant areas.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive finance credit analysis is required, with a preference for knowledge of financial statements.
  • A college degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

Working Conditions: Employees in this role may experience extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with vision requirements for monitoring tasks and exposure to moderate noise levels. The work environment is primarily office-based.
