Key Responsibilities
  • Food Portioning: Assess and determine appropriate portion sizes and associated costs.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage kitchen supplies and food inventory efficiently.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes to meet customer preferences.
  • Allergy Awareness: Prepare dishes accommodating customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Kitchen Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Staff Training: Provide training to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Keep accurate records of food supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels.
  • Work Area Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and work areas to promote a safe cooking environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar culinary role.
