Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MEHTAB EAST INDIAN CUISINE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on how to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience is positive and memorable.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory levels, sales data, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
