Position Summary: Reporting to the Section Head or designated supervisor, the Radiology Imaging Specialist primarily engages in advanced imaging procedures, particularly Computerized Tomography (CT), alongside various general medical imaging tasks. Responsibilities encompass managing and fulfilling requisitions, completing necessary documentation, prioritizing tasks, preparing and overseeing supplies and equipment, monitoring patient conditions, operating imaging acquisition devices, managing computerized patient data systems, archiving images, and undertaking supervisory and shift-related duties, which may include evening, weekend, and night shifts, often working autonomously as required.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

Completion of an accredited Radiology Technologist Diploma program and eligibility for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is essential. Candidates should possess recent, relevant experience in radiography and CT, along with completion of an accredited CT certification program or a comparable mix of education, training, and experience.
