Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Hill Top Dining/Indian Cuisine is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal stock levels.
  • Hire and train new food service staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate reports to management.
  • Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Physically demanding, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends.
