About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Civilia Golf Retreat. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
    • Hire food service staff and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Food Service Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food service operations
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to work a 40-hour week and may be required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.
