About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Painter Assistant at Richie Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our painters with various tasks related to construction and painting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials Such as Concrete and Asphalt
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to work outdoors in dusty conditions. You will need to have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination to perform your duties effectively.

Training and Support

We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, and provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth, Veterans, and Indigenous workers. We also provide awareness training to our employees to create a welcoming work environment for all.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position, working 32 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
