Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at PeopleCare Communities Inc. as a Nursing Care Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or well-being to the nursing team.
  • Participate in recreational activities and social events to promote resident engagement and enjoyment.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
