Job Summary

We are seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our team at Finch. The successful candidate will provide personal care to assist clients in their daily activities and personal hygiene, supporting their physical, social, and emotional needs in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with daily activities and personal hygiene
  • Support clients' physical, social, and emotional needs in a safe and respectful manner
  • Comply with relevant government standards, residents' rights, and the organization's mission and philosophy

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent
  • Experience in long-term care setting an asset
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take initiative, problem solve, and time manage
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy
  • Shift work, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to speak and converse in Chinese an asset; understanding of Japanese an asset
