About the Role

You'll be responsible for assisting customers in one-on-one consultations, both in-store and in-home, to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your expertise in design will help you create and present personalized design plans that meet clients' needs, style, and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations
  • Perform in-home consultations, including measuring and assessing clients' living spaces
  • Create and present design plans based on clients' needs and preferences
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve sales and productivity goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including gift wrapping, registry services, and special orders
  • Demonstrate superior product knowledge and communicate effectively with clients
  • Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including complex large orders

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales and productivity goals
  • Strong communication, clienteling, and customer follow-up skills
  • Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items (up to 75 lbs.)

This role offers a competitive compensation package, including pay and benefits. Pay is based on several factors, including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The anticipated pay range for this role is $17.80-$21.50 per hour.
