About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Reception Associate to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, determining the nature of their visit and directing them to the correct department or personnel.
  • Communication: Answer customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person, handling telephone calls in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties, accounting tasks, and manage the customer traffic control system, receiving and processing payments, and remitting mail received at the reception desk.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with administrative duties involving new and pre-owned inventory, processing sales documentation, and working effectively with the sales team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Customer Lounge Maintenance: Keep the customer lounge area presentable and tidy, including stocking the coffee area.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately report any accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to work with changing priorities, multitask, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work in an active and social atmosphere.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
