Job Title: Car Jockey

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Car Jockey to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships.

Job Summary

The Car Jockey will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service department and service lot. This includes safely transporting dealership and customer vehicles, inspecting vehicles for damage, and verifying accessories listed on the invoice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain the service parking lot, ensuring vehicles are properly arranged and secured.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on the invoice to ensure accuracy.
  • Safely transport clients to and from destinations using the dealership's shuttle service as requested.
  • Assist in preparing vehicles for delivery and pick up, including washing and cleaning as needed.
  • Catalogue and store keys in a secure location.
  • Perform daily inspections of the lot to ensure it is secure and free from litter and debris.
  • Clean and remove garbage from the shop as required.
  • Maintain walkway accessibility in inclement weather.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as shuttle driver duties, valet parking, and assisting the Sales Lot Attendants as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
  • Clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Good judgment and ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
