Job Title: Automotive Service Technician Apprentice

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Eighty8 Alpha Automotive Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Help adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Participate in repairing or replacing mechanical units or components
  • Assist in testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Tire, wheel and rim mechanic
  • Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Transmission) Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification
  • HVAC Certificate
