Job Summary

Manpower Alberta is seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist to join our team. As an Industrial Hygienist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative workplace exposure assessments to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement effective industrial hygiene programs to prevent workplace illnesses and injuries.
  • Collaborate with operations and business units to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate assessment results and recommendations to stakeholders, including employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Travel to field locations to conduct assessments and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) designation.
  • Related professional experience in oil and gas or other industrial settings.
  • Strong working knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation in western Canada.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office; familiarity with IH data systems.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Solid presentation/training skills and experience.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Valid class 5 driver's license.
