About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Renovation Carpenter to join our team at Revitastone Design Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for carrying out renovation work on various projects, ensuring high-quality results and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Supervise other workers
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
  • Install materials on countertops and raised platforms
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in renovation carpentry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
