We are seeking a skilled Renovation Carpenter to join our team at Revitastone Design Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to renovation and construction, including reading blueprints, preparing layouts, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling and joining materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Supervise other workers and ensure a safe working environment
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in renovation and construction
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments
