We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Electro-Mechanical Technologist who possesses a service-oriented mindset and a strong desire to tackle technical challenges associated with state-of-the-art high-speed automated packaging systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test new machinery.
- Experience with packaging systems, conveyors, and servo motors is preferred.
- Implement preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose equipment issues to identify root causes and propose effective long-term solutions.
- Operate and maintain various machinery including lathes, milling machines, engraving tools, and welding equipment.
- Examine technical drawings or samples to ensure precise production standards.
- Measure accurately, plan task sequences, and select suitable machine settings for cutting, shaping, engraving, and welding tasks.
- Perform welding operations using appropriate equipment.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on output.
- Recognize the need for machine maintenance and execute minor repairs as necessary.
- Provide training to team members on machine operations when required.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of relevant experience as a Millwright, Assembler, or Machine Fitter in an Automation or Packaging Machinery setting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
- Capable of completing assemblies within specified timelines.
- Adhere to industry best practices to maintain a disciplined, safe, and organized workspace.
- Strong verbal, written, and technical communication skills in English.
