Job Overview

Work Environment

The role involves working outdoors and providing on-site customer service. The candidate should be prepared for a physically demanding job that requires bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Assemble and install components of refrigeration or air conditioning systems.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Start up systems and conduct leak tests using appropriate devices.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including recharging systems with refrigerants and calibrating equipment.
  • Interpret gas codes and handle refrigerants safely.
  • Repair and replace parts for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
  • Service equipment as needed.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Training in working at heights.
  • An Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle supplied by the employer.
Experience

Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
