Job Summary

We're seeking (6) Second Cooks to join our culinary team, working 30-40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $18.00. Overtime may be necessary, paid at time and a half.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food in various kitchen sections, including a la carte and banquets
• Operate individual stations under the supervision of first cooks and/or CDP
• Report to the kitchen CDP and First Cooks
• Work according to menu specifications
• Control food waste in your section
• Follow safe food handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to leadership
• Protect company assets and maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance
• Support employee culture, communicate effectively, and develop positive working relationships with other departments
• Contribute to team goals, ensuring quality expectations and standards are met

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of commercial cooking or professional kitchen experience
• Culinary management diploma and/or cooking certificate is an asset
