Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Use computerized and other testing equipment to detect faults and malfunctions in diesel engines.
  • Diagnose and Repair Faults: Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Adjust and Repair Equipment: Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on diesel engines.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting diesel engines.
Requirements
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate: Possess a valid Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate.
  • Experience with Diesel Engines: Have at least 5 years of experience working with diesel engines.
  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Possess strong troubleshooting skills and be able to diagnose complex problems.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
