Job Title: Transport Truck Mechanic

Le centre du camion (Amiante) Inc is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including automotive and truck-trailer systems.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, electrical and electronic systems, brake systems, hydraulic systems, and fuel and emission systems.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines, to ensure minimal downtime for our fleet.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems, including diesel engines, electrical and electronic systems, and brake systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
