Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Alternative Landscape Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks to maintain our outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
- Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety.
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
- Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
- Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to prepare for new plantings.
- Lay sod or seed to create new lawns and gardens.
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance our outdoor spaces.
- Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
- Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Write daily basic progress reports to keep our team informed.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and well-being.
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Remove trees and other vegetation as needed.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure quality work.
- Perform repetitive tasks to maintain our outdoor spaces.
- Handle heavy loads and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Work in physically demanding conditions, including extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
- Use manual dexterity to perform tasks that require precision and accuracy.
- Pay attention to detail to ensure quality work and meet deadlines.
- Use hand-eye coordination to operate equipment and perform tasks that require precision and accuracy.
- Ability to distinguish between colors to ensure accurate work and meet deadlines.
