Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis, focusing on our growing Direct to Consumer (DTC) segment. In this capacity, you will work alongside various business units, providing on-demand analysis and reporting, managing dashboards and databases, and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting activities.
As a Financial Analyst in FPA, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing dashboards and reports to assess business performance
- Collaborating with business partners to formulate business cases for new initiatives and ensuring alignment with the annual budget and project return metrics (NPV, IRR, and payback)
- Assisting in the annual budgeting process for DTC operations and delivering on-demand analysis as needed
- Interpreting extensive data sets and deriving insights based on trends and observations
- Supporting the creation and upkeep of monthly corporate-level reporting activities, including committee presentations and quarterly board materials
- Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through automation, simplification, and prioritization
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance is essential
- CPA/CFA designation or progress towards it is considered advantageous
- Familiarity with the retail sector and e-commerce is a definite plus
- Strong analytical and inquiry skills to comprehend operational processes and limitations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Capacity to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and recommendations while considering all stakeholders' perspectives
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data management, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Domo)
- Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
