Work Management System (WMS) Solution Architect

At BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Work Management System (WMS) Solution Architect to join our Business Applications Solutions & Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing IT solutions to business problems, including systems, applications, infrastructure, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop conceptual architecture designs for IT solutions
  • Lead technical planning and evaluation of solutions
  • Oversee the activities of technical resources to deliver solutions
  • Develop non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents
  • Act as a technical lead on IT projects, from start to finish

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of systems, architectures, systems management, networking, and application design techniques
  • Strong personal business, industry, and project management skills
  • Experience with RESTFul API Integration techniques and tools, Oracle Service Bus, and Oracle Custom Care and Billing
  • Expert level communicator and presenter
  • Canadian federal, provincial, municipal government or similar work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Contract Duration:

The Contract will be effective for an initial term commencing on award date and ending on March 31, 2025. After which, BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. will evaluate its ongoing requirements and may have the option to renew the Contract for successive one (1) year terms, a maximum of four (4) times.
