Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing construction team at J Dass Developments.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Construction Manager, Site Supervisors, and Forepersons on one or more construction projects. This includes maintaining records of daily work site activities, safety items, visitors, inspections, and job progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily work site reports, safety records, and visitor logs.
  • Provide technical support to project staff and subcontractors, including preparing take-offs from drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to evaluate quotes, prepare bid recaps, and recommend orders.
  • Assist with preparing project completion schedules and construction budgets.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Supervisor to plan work sequences, using specifications, drawings, and site conditions for effective safety-conscious production.
Requirements:
  • High level of computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Strong estimation skills and experience with RFIs, RFQs, and take-offs.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Canadian construction experience.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with clear oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires travel to various sites and locations. The successful candidate must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments, with varying weather conditions. Weekend and evening work may be required to meet the demands of the position.
