**Job Summary**
Island Health is seeking a skilled Radiologist to join our team in the Cowichan District Hospital. As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing diagnostic services to patients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Interpret medical images, including CT, US, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, BMD, and basic interventional procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in the design and optimization of the hospital's imaging department
- Develop and implement protocols for imaging procedures
- Contribute to the development of the department's strategic plan
**Requirements**
- Proficiency in CT, US, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, BMD, and basic interventional procedures
- Flexibility, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work harmoniously with a small group practice of 7 Radiologists
- Interest in living in the local island community
- Training in or a willingness to train in CT Cardiac Coronary Angiography and CT Colonography
