Qualifications

Work Environment

The position is primarily set in a nursing home or assisted living facility, where the focus is on providing compassionate care to the elderly and those in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Support patients during meal times, including serving food and assisting with feeding.
  • Help with mobility by lifting, turning, and positioning patients as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and bedding.
  • Transport patients safely using wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Respond promptly to patient call signals to address their needs.
  • Provide first aid in emergency situations as required.
Certification Requirements

Applicants must possess a Health Care Aide Certificate and pass a criminal record check along with providing immunization records.
