Educational Background:
• Preferred degree in Christian Education or Elementary Education


• Bible College or Theological training is an asset

Compensation:
• Salary range of $40,000-45,000 (Dependent on education and experience)

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Lead Pastor

Employment Type: Full-time position, 30 hours per week

Meetings: Participation in weekly staff meetings, regular one-on-one sessions with the lead pastor, and congregational meetings

Key Responsibilities:

· Foster the spiritual growth of children in alignment with Regent College's culture statement.

· Implement discipleship-focused programming, including:

– Sunday children's activities

– A weekly midweek program

– An annual summer outreach/discipleship initiative

– Seasonal events for church and community (Christmas, Easter, Spring Break)

– Collaborate with the Associate Pastor to develop programming for Grades 5-8.

· Recruit, equip, and support children's ministry volunteers in their life and ministry.

· Engage and empower families with resources and opportunities for discipleship and growth at home.

· Create initiatives and connection opportunities that involve children and families in the broader community.

· Facilitate opportunities for families to connect outside of church for shared experiences and discipleship.

· Pursue personal and professional development opportunities to enhance ministry effectiveness.
