About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead our Stream Processing and Analytics team at Confluent, Inc. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of data streaming and analytics, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the development and enhancements of our SQL Analytics and batch processing roadmap.
  • Unify stream processing and analytics by working with customers and internal stakeholders to align our efforts related to processing of data coming from Apache Kafka and Apache Iceberg.
  • Work across teams to create a shared understanding and direction across engineering, product, business development, support, sales, and marketing teams within Confluent and externally with our partners.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of software or technical product management experience.
  • Experience working on enhancing operational data systems, data warehouses, datalakes, or lakehouses.
  • Experience with SQL language.
  • Experience with batch processing or data processing at scale.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and learn new technical concepts quickly.
  • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and services.
  • Knowledge of Flink or other streaming processing technologies preferred but not required.
