About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Comfort Keepers Victoria. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene and comfort.
  • Provide Medical Support: Take clients' vital signs, administer medications, and provide basic first aid as needed.
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help clients with meal preparation, serving, and cleaning up, as well as maintaining their living space.
  • Transport Clients: Safely transport clients to and from appointments, as well as within their homes.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and respectful communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency
