Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional client service by providing knowledge, ideas, and solutions to improve business performance and assess legal implications.
  • Ensure engagements are executed in accordance with firm methodologies, professional standards, and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate the planning and management of assignments in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Secure and enhance relationships with senior client management.
  • Be a proactive leader of teams, ensuring team members are properly managed and motivated.
  • Identify and address staff needs, including training and development.
  • Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions.
  • Develop long-term relationships and networks, both internally and externally.
Requirements:
  • Canadian CPA, CA designation.
  • At least 7 years of public accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
  • Proven ability to develop new business.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted business advisor.
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
  • Experience with MS Office, CaseWare, and tax return software.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
