Role Overview

As an HVAC/R Technician at Nextech, you'll play a critical role in driving our company's success. You'll be responsible for providing top-notch technical service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to our team's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration systems for commercial customers.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
  • Travel to job sites and work with dispatchers to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are communicated to customers.
  • Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs.
  • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and electronics in good working order.
  • Document services and parts provided to customers electronically through iPad applications.
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of HVAC/R Technician experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • EPA Certificate.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Knowledge of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills for iPad and cell phone communication and documentation.
