At Jardeg-Construction, we are seeking a skilled B-Pressure Welder Journeyperson to join our team on the Suncor Fort Hills project. This is a permanent position on a 7/7 shift schedule.

The successful candidate will have experience working with other trades, such as Millwrights and Pipefitters, and will be skilled in the fusing of metals using prescribed welding applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Be proficient in welding equipment and procedures
  • Develop and follow layout patterns for projects
  • Have a thorough knowledge of metals, arc electrodes, and welding gases
  • Recognize and repair defective welds
  • Perform tasks in accordance with quality and production standards
  • Hold valid certifications, including CWB and B-pressure tickets

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • CSTS
  • H2S Alive
  • AWP
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space
  • Common Safety Orientation
  • Overhead Crane & Rigging
  • Mask Fit Test
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Valid Full Class 5 Driver's License-No restrictions
  • 3 Year's Driver's Abstract
