We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Domestic Tax team, responsible for evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs, and developing proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating client business processes and policies to identify tax opportunities and risks
  • Advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs
  • Developing proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective
  • Providing technical and project management leadership to team members for Domestic Tax projects or assignments
  • Ensuring quality control standards are in place
  • Identifying and developing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities
  • Preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations, and reviewing corporate, trust and estate tax returns
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Completed your CPA designation as well as the In-Depth Tax Program and/or Master's in Tax
  • 7 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
