About the Role:

The Sr. Regional Operations Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving Operational Excellence across multiple plants in the North Region. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Leadership to develop and standardize company strategy and KPIs across the region.
  • Assist in developing tools and processes for implementing and sustaining continuous improvement activities and savings.
  • Champion the development of a Lean culture throughout the region and the company.
  • Teach and mentor Kaizen methodology to CI and non-CI employees.
  • Drive cultural change by developing standard training and mentoring others in the use of Lean tools, approaches, and techniques.
  • Be a liaison for sharing best practices across the organization.
  • Coach and drive cost-saving initiatives by partnering with CI and Operations teams.
  • Identify and lead large-scaled projects to successfully implement throughout the organization.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Identify high-potential employees and coach and mentor them in leading and implementing improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with the identification of cost-optimization projects.
  • Operate cross-functionally to assure information flow and understanding of overall process improvement direction and expected results.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members to improve standardized dashboarding capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Operations or related field.
  • Five to seven years' experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean manufacturing) and Training Field, with beverage or food experience strongly preferred.
  • Lean/Kaizen certification a plus.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Prior multiple site responsibility.
  • Proven ability to drive change.
  • Lean deployment.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Able to work independently and prioritize among multiple simultaneous assignments with strong ownership.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, results-oriented.
  • Able to work under deadline pressures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Budget planning and managing.
  • Ability to work in a changing and multi-task environment.
