Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gas Distribution Project Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and executing gas distribution projects from initiation to completion. Your responsibilities will encompass planning, estimating, and managing project requests received from diverse stakeholders, including customers, external agencies, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to define their project requirements, recommend suitable service options and pricing structures, and schedule work orders effectively.
  • Process project requests by meticulously reviewing data, creating detailed drawings, obtaining necessary approvals, and requisitioning required materials.
  • Ensure the successful completion of projects while maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the process.
  • Address operational and maintenance issues related to gas distribution systems promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • A post-secondary Technology Diploma in a relevant field is essential.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification at the technician level is required.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in specialized software applications and a comprehensive understanding of natural gas utilization are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities are highly valued.
  • The ability to work independently and make sound decisions is critical.
