About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at 1087937 B.C. LTD. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction costs, including labour, materials, and equipment
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimates and project timelines
  • Utilize CADD and other computer software systems to prepare estimates and project documentation
  • Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve cost-related issues and ensure project success
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Strong understanding of construction costs, including labour, materials, and equipment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
