Role Overview
Responsibilities of a Warehouse Order Selector:
In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all finished goods meet our stringent quality standards and are customized to fulfill specific customer requests. Your responsibilities will include inspecting product characteristics such as dimensions, shape, color, and uniformity to ensure compliance with established specifications. You will also engage in preparing and cutting orders to meet the distinct needs of our clientele. Your tasks will encompass conducting quality checks, removing substandard items from pallets or boards, and substituting them with top-quality products. Duties may vary based on the assigned product and operational process.
Key Duties:
Execute comprehensive inspections of finished goods to guarantee adherence to company quality standards, including assessments of dimensions, shape, color, and uniformity. Prepare and cut products according to precise customer specifications, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Conduct quality assurance checks and eliminate defective items from pallets or boards, replacing them with superior products. Assist in various operational tasks, including forklift operation, pallet maintenance, and general yard support. Consistently utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols to foster a secure working environment. Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to contribute to team objectives and operational efficiency.Qualifications:
Ability to comprehend and follow basic instructions, ensuring tasks are executed with precision. Proficiency in drafting simple memos and reports to facilitate effective communication. Strong verbal communication skills, enabling clear instruction delivery, safety information sharing, and collaboration in small teams. Capability to perform essential duties in alignment with company standards, maintaining high quality and consistency. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to operate various machinery, including forklifts.
