Job Overview

The Phone Place is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role involves diagnosing and resolving issues with telecommunications systems and ensuring optimal performance of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Equipment Inspection: Regularly assess the functionality of telecommunications devices.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Set up, organize, and maintain telephone systems, wiring, and related hardware.
  • Repair Services: Replace or fix defective telecommunications equipment as needed.
  • Testing: Conduct tests on installed telephone systems to identify transmission issues.
  • Analysis: Review test outcomes and make adjustments to switching systems, networks, and associated software.
  • Repair Coordination: Initiate the dispatch of repair personnel when necessary.
  • Service Testing: Utilize computerized testing systems to perform service evaluations on customer lines and equipment.
