About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at 1166417 B.C. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, supervise workers and projects, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Train or arrange for training, set up machines and equipment, and lead and instruct individuals to achieve project goals.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
  • Communication: Read blueprints and drawings, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems, and make recommendations to improve processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Work Setting: The role will involve working in a construction, maintenance, and repair setting.
  • Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and have excellent physical capabilities.
Personal Qualities
  • Excellent Oral Communication: The successful candidate will have excellent oral communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Organized: The successful candidate will be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Reliability: The successful candidate will be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week.
  • Work Language: The successful candidate will be required to work in English.
  • Work Term: The successful candidate will be required to work on a permanent basis.
