Job Summary

Clintar Winnipeg is seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team. As a Skid Steer Operator, you will be responsible for operating a skid steer from site to site to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a skid steer to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
  • Maintain clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal.
  • Respond to emergency calls for snow removal, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors or dispatch to report road conditions, progress, and any issues encountered.
  • Work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms, and potentially at night, to ensure timely snow removal.
  • Maintain records of work completed, including time logs, equipment maintenance records, and reports on materials used.
  • Load own truck.
  • Provide professional service.
  • Follow all health & safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • 3 years experience in previous snow removal role.
  • The role demands flexible hours, often overnight, including weekends and holidays.
  • On-call availability from November – April.
  • Cell phone data with data required.
