About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual to join our team at Nanak Auto Centre Inc. as a Mechanic Helper. In this role, you will provide support to our tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Tradespersons and Apprentices: Provide support to our tradespersons and apprentices in their daily tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.
  • Signal Safety Procedures: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Clean Machines and Work Areas: Clean machines and immediate work areas, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Move Tools and Equipment: Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required, maintaining a well-organized workshop.
Work Environment

As a Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced workshop environment, exposed to confined spaces and odours. You will be required to stand, walk, and bend frequently, making this a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment opportunity.
