Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mechanic Helper to assist our mechanics in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment. As a Mechanic Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics in performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Help with the movement of tools, equipment, and materials
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Work under pressure
Work Environment

Our work site environment is noisy, dusty, and hot, with potential odours. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
