Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Bel Air Gardens Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment

  • Client focus: Provide excellent service to our customers and ensure their satisfaction
  • Flexibility: Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Organized: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently
  • Reliability: Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Team player: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve common goals
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Permanent position
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
