About the Role

Ramboll is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our Health Sciences team as a Principal, Risk Management/Toxicology Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and driving business development and projects focused on Risk Assessment and Community Health.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in the field of risk management and toxicology
  • Manage projects, clients, and regulatory agency relations to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through trust-building and open communication
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen and deepen individual client relationships
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through presenting and publishing scientific findings, testifying at administrative and/or court hearings, and participating in local, national, and international scientific and trade group meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and business units to deliver innovative solutions
  • Guide staff in their careers and promote staff development

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in risk management and toxicology. The ideal candidate will have:

  • An academic degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in scientific consulting, including a track record of successful business development
  • Credentialed with the Society of Contaminated Sites Approved Professionals (CSAP)
  • Registered as a Qualified Environmental Professional in a relevant area (e.g., Risk Assessment, Chemistry, Biology)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with external clients and develop productive relationships with regulatory agency and internal staff
  • Demonstrated business development and leadership capabilities
