We are in search of an Associate Director of Client Services and Strategy to spearhead strategic marketing initiatives for our Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology clientele.

This position will emphasize the formulation of medical strategy and the management of seamless project execution, events, and programs, ultimately aimed at ensuring client success and growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical marketing tactics, navigating health authorities, and utilizing Veeva's CRM infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with senior-level client stakeholders, serving as their primary contact within the agency.
  • Lead the development of strong client relationships through efficient and strategic allocation of agency services across marketing, technology, and creative.
  • Expand accounts and create new opportunities through solid results, case study creation, client testimonials, referrals, relationship building, and networking.
  • Coordinate the creation of pitch materials, including presentations, proposals, case studies, and creative concepts that highlight the agency's capabilities and past successes.

Technical Expertise:

  • Oversee program performance, including the ongoing evaluation of client projects and programs against established KPIs.
  • Identify performance challenges and propose effective solutions through collaboration with internal teams.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance client ROI and pinpoint opportunities for account growth.

Process Implementation & Improvement:

  • Facilitate and consult on Medical, Regulatory, and Compliance reviews, including Health Authority submissions and negotiations.
  • Drive project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure a positive ROI for clients while maintaining agency profitability.
  • Monitor time tracking systems to accurately capture team hour allocation and project profitability against estimates.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations, aligning with the agency's vision, mission, and values.
  • Address client concerns appropriately to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior Accounts team members.

  • Oversee team deliverables with accountability for exceptional client performance.
  • Enhance marketing strategy, presentation, and client service skills across the agency.
  • Guide strategic thinking and communications of the marketing and creative teams to ensure quality, strategy, and opportunities to strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven senior experience in Account Management or a similar role leading client strategy and relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in developing effective strategies, annual roadmaps, and expanding accounts by selling strategies and tactics to clients.
  • Understanding of the Canadian regulatory environment for pharmaceutical products, methodologies for evaluating competitive landscapes, and pharmacologic domains such as pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacoeconomics.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, particularly in French or other languages relevant to the Canadian or global market.
  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile) to enhance project oversight and efficiency.
