Medical Simulation Sales and Support Specialist

Minogue Medical Inc. is in search of a Medical Simulation Sales and Support Specialist who will work closely with the Product Manager for Simulation.

The Specialist will take charge of the sales and training of simulation products, mannequins, and devices within a dynamic region, while also offering technical assistance to clients to ensure the safe operation of our offerings. This role will require the Specialist to become proficient in the utilization of simulation devices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES AND EDUCATION FUNCTIONS

  • Formulate and execute a strategic business development and sales & marketing plan for the territory.
  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships while nurturing existing ones to strengthen business networks.
  • Engage a diverse clientele in impactful selling initiatives for Minogue Medical's products.
  • Showcase new products and accessories through educational presentations and training sessions.
  • Establish and sustain robust relationships with partners across various medical sectors and educational institutions.
  • Enhance awareness of Minogue's simulation products and equipment (Gaumard, Koken, SurgiReal) through targeted educational initiatives.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with clients to inform them about specialized simulation products using engaging presentations and available resources.
  • Provide training opportunities that align with business medical education objectives.
  • Develop and implement a business strategy to surpass sales and service goals in the designated territory.
  • Negotiate agreements and keep track of competitor products and activities.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor actions to effectively position Minogue Medical's offerings.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of strategies aimed at boosting the company's brand visibility and market presence.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and personnel requests for technical support, ensuring issues are documented, tracked, and resolved promptly.
  • Prioritize and categorize technical support requests for effective resolution.
  • Ensure swift responses to urgent technical matters.
  • Diagnose and address technical issues reported by clients.
  • Provide step-by-step assistance to clients in resolving common challenges.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to tackle complex repair tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance on office equipment and technical infrastructure.
  • Create and manage service tickets for all client interactions.
  • Develop and maintain service support documentation, including procedural, maintenance, and repair guidelines.
  • Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Minogue Medical's products, services, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Work alongside the Product Manager for Simulation to ensure high-quality service is delivered by the technical support team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or educational roles within the medical or healthcare sector.
  • Experience in utilizing and selling medical simulation products.
  • A background as a healthcare provider with experience in medical simulation (e.g., medical educator, simulation specialist).
  • Strong technical proficiency.
  • Persistent, proactive, and possess a strong sense of initiative.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven.
  • Solution-oriented team player.
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Professional demeanor is essential.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as required.
